Minimi and Roquecycle are an explosive couple. Two authentic and adorable characters.
The virtuosity of this acrobatic duo is disrupted by their own clumsiness. Everything constantly threatens to go wrong, but somehow, things work out. The audience is both witness and accomplice to this comedy of errors, which leads the characters to share their emotions without hiding anything. The grotesque and the subtle merge to bring to life a unique piece of street circus, with a perfect rhythm from start to finish that captivates audiences of all ages.

A show that has toured successfully and with great acclaim throughout Latin America, Europe, and China. High-flying acrobatics and comedy in perfect balance, with unicycle skills not often seen in street theatre.

NEW SHOW

Two eccentric and meticulous characters, consumed by an obsession with the absurd, turn a pile of buckets into surprising universes. With audacity, they display their skills in an odyssey where the absurd turns out to be the right way. The audience, captivated by their madness, trusts their actions, no matter how crazy they may seem. A circus show, with the freshness of street theatre and the tone of a contemporary circus.

‘Al tacho’ is Circo Eguap’s new show. Premiered in January 2025 in Argentina and ready to go on an international tour in 2026. New and impressive techniques, such as hair suspension and a unicycle over 5 metres high, add a strong circus flavour to this piece of street theatre.

Biography

She, Dolores Ruiz is Minimi
Shy and serious in everyday life. Histrionic and extroverted when it comes to going on stage. Passionate about exploring the positions and twists that the body can reach. She has flown through the air and fallen to the ground in search of adrenaline. Making people laugh with little things is her forte, as she is very small, less than five feet tall!

He, Roque Niklison is Roquecycle
Tenacious and stubborn when it comes to challenges. Some call him hard-headed, others call him spring-headed. A pioneer and leader in the arts of circus, street theater, and cultural management.
Throughout his extensive artistic career, which dates back to 1999, he has been everything from a trapeze artist and tightrope walker to a unicyclist. An authentic and entertaining comedian who is overflowing with energy.

Back in 2006, they met at the Escuela de Circo Criollo in Buenos Aires, a cradle for artists who have spread out across the world. They created the street theater company Circo Eguap, which set them on their way to touring the world. In 2012, they built their own circus tent and founded Circo CasQu, an independent contemporary circus company with its own circus tent (all this throughout Argentina, which covers many, many kilometers). They have also participated in other productions and multiple projects.
In this way, they continue their theatrical adventures, developing and perfecting their métier with enthusiasm and conviction that this is their mission in the world.
